Confluence Systems.
A rules-based trading framework built to remove emotion from execution. Signal alignment, defined risk, and consistency over time.
Why it exists
Most traders do not lose money because they lack information. They lose because they override their own rules in the moment. Fear, conviction, revenge, boredom. Each one erodes an edge that might have been real.
Confluence Systems is the inverse. A simple framework where nothing happens unless multiple signals agree, and once a trade is on, the rules run it. Built after years of doing it the wrong way first.
The five rules
- 01Signal alignment
A trade only qualifies when independent signals agree. Structure, trend, and confirmation.
- 02Defined entry
Every entry has a precise trigger. If the condition is not met, there is no trade.
- 03Defined risk
Stop loss is set before the trade, sized against account risk, not conviction.
- 04Defined exit
Targets are mechanical. Partial or full exits execute by rule, not by feel.
- 05No overrides
Once taken, the system runs. No moving stops, no talking yourself back in.
How it was built
Four moving parts. Kept small on purpose, so each rule is easy to check and easy to trust.
- Signal engine
Multi-timeframe rules that only fire when structure, trend, and trigger line up.
- Risk layer
Position sizing tied to account equity and stop distance. Same logic every time.
- Execution log
Every trade recorded with entry, exit, R-multiple, and mode. No hidden context.
- Review loop
Weekly review of the log surfaces what is working, what is drifting, and what to cut.
